Medical Park Ear, Nose & Throat has been serving patient’s in the Susquehanna Valley since 1980. We provide a full spectrum of ENT services for infants through adults. Working with Evangelical Community Hospital and The Surgical Center of Central PA, Dr. William Bruce provides his expertise and availability to the community.
William B. Bruce, M.D. is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist who received his training at some of the finest teaching hospitals in the country. His practice is state of the art, including a completely electronic medical records system in conjunction with a personal and caring office environment.
Our goal is to provide same day appointments for our patients when necessary. Cancellation 24 hours in advance allows us to give your appointment to another patient who may have an urgent situation.
Electronic medical records (EMR’s) help improve quality, efficiency, and safety in patient care. Legibility, complete and timely reports to your family physician (same day) and ability to track compliance with recommendations all contribute to the highest level of care.
We are concerned about your ENT care even after office hours. Our community hospital-Evangelical, has a well trained and well staffed Emergency Department who can handle most ENT concerns. Susquehanna Health ENT provides coverage for Dr. Bruce when he is not available. You may be directed to the Williamsport ER or Geisinger Medical Center for certain conditions not treatable at Evangelical.
Not all Ear, Nose & Throat conditions are treatable in the office setting, the community hospital, or The Surgery Center of PA. If your condition would be better treated at Geisinger, Hershey Medical Center, University of Pittsburg, or other major health centers we will promptly refer you to them. Your best care is our concern.
On arrival to our office you be greeted by our reception staff and asked to participate in creating an accurate and comprehensive health record. Your photo will be taken for identification and chart verification. You will fill out a previous health history form that includes family health conditions, social history, and a current review of your systems/symptoms. An intake nurse will accompany you to an exam room and a detailed current health history related to your chief complaint will be taken. Your current medications and any treatments related to your condition will be entered into the EMR.
Dr. Bruce reviews medical records received from your family physician, CT scans and reports, MRI reports, lab results and your chief complaint prior to greeting you in the exam room. A scribe is present in the room during the examination to record exam findings and treatment plan and recommendations.
You will be escorted to the surgical scheduler or medical secretary for further test scheduling, procedure or surgical scheduling as well as referrals or follow-up appointments.
"My son does not like going to most doctors, but he loves Dr. Bill. He is always so calm and patient and just has a way of making it easier on kids so they actually enjoy the doctor's office.”
